I still kick myself over thisWas out at a curry with my mate, and a friend of a friend of his who I didn't know, but he was a perfectly nice guy and we were getting on well. I'd had a few drinks already, and the conversation they were having was on the topic of someone me and my mate went to uni with and hated. The guy tried to bring me into the conversation and asks me "Did you know xxxxx as well then?", and I replied off-handedly "Oh Christ, that irritating bitch". He replied: "She's my girlfriend."
I spent the rest of the meal in silence.
