I've been to Matlock
for a wedding. The hotel wasn't Monty Python but it did have a "feature" whereby flushing the toilet would result in the waste bubbling out of each sink on the floor. On to the floor. And no, this wasn't just our sink, we'd booked a portion of this family run hotel and we all slept in our cars. And paid 60 gbp/night for the privilege.
