My 'record player' had a bit that popped up to prevent the need for these.... and it also had the arm to allow a stack of vinyl to be placed on top of each other and played in order!!! Who needs a shuffle button.

My record playerhas a 7" centre in its own special mounting place in one corner. It still works.
