Prexactly that.
It starts with kids in the playground seeking peer approval that they are 'normal' - achieved by pointing out the obviously different. Mostly we grow out of that.
But the point is discrimination based on such a meaningless 'difference' soon becomes patently risible. And if you’re the subject of such discrimination you'll know how mindless it is.
