No idea what it's called round bouts,
but I greatly enjoy playing it myself.
These days I'm the householder, but I can run faster and for longer than the kids. When you catch 'em they look scared until they realise I'm laughing like a loon and shouting 'gotcha'.
Then they go white and swear they'll never do it again. And they don't. There must be something scary about an old man catching you and cackling maniacally. Then next year's crop try their luck.
(As a corollary - at Halloween loads of kids call at my door. Clearly they all make some connection.)
