andwhere possible, buy flowers for no reason other than because you care.
Flowers as an apology or for inevitable anniversaries are not worth half as much as those given for no reason at all.

exactly!£5 well spent if you ask me!
Not only that but faced with take her out to dinner at £40 or £5 flowers not only are the flowers cheaper but she'll appreciate it more and probably end up preferring to stay in anyway ;-)
