I can't help myself...but when my wife relates a work story like this, I make the 'hurry-up' motion with my hand. Usually goes down well. Like a pork pie at a Barmitzvah.

HahaI'm exactly the same with my 10 year old daughter. She doesn't half witter on. ;-)
