Will you go out with me?
"Bloody Kraut, a" asks, "How did you get your current flame to go out with you? If they turned you down, how bad was it?"
Was it all romantic? Or were the beer goggles particularly strong that night?

Speaking as a dog person
I can empathise with this - not that either of my dogs have had pups, but now that they're getting older it seems that one or either of them doesn't want to walk round the block at nights.
Sometimes I must look like that traditional image of a bloke walking along dragging a lead behind him with a splay-footed dog scraping along behind, muttering under his breath.
I love my dogs!
