I didn't think it was homophobic eitherCrude, crass, stupid, offensive, embarassing and ignorant, certainly. The kind of comment that makes everyone around you cringe and leads to knuckle-biting the next day, absolutely. But it would have been exactly the same if he'd asked a pregnant couple how they managed to shag, or a schoolgirl if she was a virgin.
