I once convinced my little brotherThat swallows have teeth. I do this from time to time - the trick is to offer a perfectly reasonable explaination as to why something utterly ridiculous is in fact - perfectly possible. Mine was "well - they're not exactly teeth - more like serrated protusions from their beaks to shred the grass seeds from the grass- anyway - hen's have teeth so it's obviously some sort of evolutionary throwback from a common anscestor"
Still feel a bit bad for that one....
