Parents are good at lyingAs a young teen vegan i had an extreme fondness for haribo goldenbears, once bringing home 2 plastic bagfuls of them from Munich, where they are dirt cheap.
I was 20 when i found out what gelatine is made of. When asked why she told me it was tree sap, Mom said she didn't want to ruin "the only good thing in your life back then".
At least i eat meat now. Curry = yumm..
