As a matter of interest......most car manufacturers recommend keeping your car keys on a difference keyring because the weight of most keyrings hanging sideways from the ignition tends to warp it over time and lead to faults.
When I read that you prefer to wear boots over shoes, I envisioned a very large pair of boots over shoes that were already on your feet. I see that this is not the case.
