If you haven't alreadyGet a copy of Max Brooks' Zombie Survival guide. Essential reading to prepare yourself.
First thing to do is to take out your staircase and replace with a rope ladder.
Rope ladders are a vital piece of survival equipment.
Do not under any circumstances attempt to set fire to zombies. Molotov cocktails are not an effective weapon.
