There's a way to microwave pizza without it going soggy, works for any pastries.It goes gooey because when steam leaves the hot food, then hits the cold plate and condenses, it leaves a pile of water that soaks into the bottom of the food. If you place it on some cardboard (say, a torn piece of pizza box), hey presto hot crispy (well, rubbery) pizza!
