This is a question Helicopter Parents

Back when young ScaryDuck worked in the Dole office rather than simply queuing in it, he had to deal with a claimant brought in by his mum. She did all the talking. He was 40 years old.

Have you had to deal with over-protective parents? Get your Dad to tell us all about it.

Heh...
‘Why *sob* won’t *sob* you *sob* let *sob* me *sob* go *snot*’ - superb!

Kind of reminds me when I learnt to ride a bike: "Dad, you are still holding on?"
"Yes son."
Of course I realise now he was standing outside the gate, just getting louder so I thought he was right behind me...

*clicks*

Aww bless
My dad pulled that trick as well whilst teaching me how to ride a bike. I understand its the only way to make a kid learn but when you're young you can't help but think your parents are eeeevil because of it!

Thank you for the click! :D
