Warwick CU were banned from the SU after they refused equality for homosexuals or similar.
Good for standing by their bigotry, but they've not joined the SU since.
I think they like being on the outside.

...are a pain in the hole. I'm at uni there at the moment, and they kicked up a hell of a fuss when Warwick Atheists won Best New Society last year. Bastards ended up getting them stripped of the award.

My friend was allowed back in to the CU but the CU didn't get their rewrite done for the rest of the term. I made a point of writing to the Clubs & Societies office at the start of every academic year for a few years thereafter pointing out that the CU are a dodgy bunch and should be regularly checked.

I got the Islamic society banned from using the SU minibus for a whole academic year too. That said, they weren't too thrilled to hear that the Rock Music society had indulged in a huge pork pie binge on the way back from a damn fine Helloween concert!
