This is a question I'm going to Hell...

...because I said the Lord's Prayer backwards at a funeral to summon up the Goat of Mendes, Freddie Woo tells us. Tell us why you're doomed.

Thanks to Kaol for the suggestion

« Go Back

Tomorrow
I have got to tell my ex that im leaving the country for a year or so to go back to the UK.

She will NOT be happy , but she cant complain too much as she is moving to Australia very soon taking little Miss Welgar with her. I think this little nugget of informationis going to go down like a fish milkshake.
Yes my life is going to be even more of a living hell tomorrow.

good luck
I have to do similar in the new year. My ex is currently on a month long foreign holiday leaving our daughter with me. (yet I'm the selfish irresponsible one?!?).

So in the new year when she gets back I'm telling her I'm moving to the other side of the country to move in with my new girlfriend.

Will be like a TNT appetiser to the napalm main course.

What does it matter what she thinks if she's your ex?
I appreciate that there is a child involved, but the great thing about ex's is that you no longer have to keep them happy.

because
ex's with the child can be manipulative, bullying and very hurtful people intent on making your life as hard as possible and denying you what little enjoyment you might look forward to with your child.

Ah.
I'm 31 and single with no kids. There's a whole unknown world of hurt out there for me isn't there.

i'l second that!
I hate my ex with a passion but when there is a kid involved it makes things very complicated. You HAVE to have some kind of contact with them as you have to liase when you can see the kid etc.

Luckily for me im in fulltime care of my son so shes the one who struggles to find the time to see him (her choice not mine)

Snap!
My ex moved halfway across the country after 6 court hearings and various nasty allegations in the hope there'd be no more court hearings after refusing to discuss our son with me.

I moved too. Next court hearing in 4 months and counting. It was all a lovely big surprise and would be understating things to say she was `disappointed' I had done this.

I sacked my solicitor, represent myself and doing a much better job than someone who I'd pay at least £190 per hour too. If she ever decides to talk to me, I'd love to, to end all this bollocks, but court is the only option.
