Hidden TreasureMy landlord had some builders in to remove a staircase in an outbuilding when a rusty biscuit tin fell out from under the woodwork.
What wonders were in this hidden treasure box? Two live hand grenades and 40 rounds of ammunition. From WW2. I've never seen builders run before.

Who the hell hid it thereDrystone wall to the pigsty fell down in heavy rain, to reveal a little round tin of durex condoms with 1940's-style lettering. Adolescent curiosity drove me to destroy the tin in order to get at the condoms (having never touched one before).
