Weirdly, the Uke collection is the only thing that's got a serious reason behind it
In that one housemate is a music teacher in a local school, where she's junior to 3 other music teachers. The senior one runs the choir, where they sing show tunes and NO harmonies whatsoever, and then she has to try to teach them about harmony- and they have no experience of it. She's not allowed to interfere with the choir, so instead of teaching them choral stuff she's started the Uke choir where they have to sing in harmony for the songs, as well as play. It's working well. :-)
