Am I too late?There's a spider in the corner of our living room. The fucker doesn't pay rent, but he doesn't make a mess. My wife hates him, but he hasn't done anything to her. My cat stares at him like he's a snack, yet he doesn't seem bothered. I would've evicted him by now; it's just that I can't reach him.

The other night I leaned my arm across the back of the sofa and felt something moving under the edge of my palmit was a huge hairy spider I'd just put my hand on, trying to get free.
I was then left in the unenviable situation of trying to get either my girlfriend or housemate to understand that I needed an empty glass to scoop him into before he pulled himself free and ran off into the corner. They didn't get it in time so I assume he's out there still, watching me.
