Not just the Americans that get it wrongWent to Uni in Manchester, and the girl in the room next to me in student halls was from Croydon. She spent the first week thinking that she'd come to a Scottish university, as she thought the border was somewhere round Birmingham(?!!!). She couldnt believe it was possible "to drive so far north, and still be in England"!!!
