BessacarrI used to sell bessacarrs for a living - certanly not a bad van to buy at all. Granted they have some niggly faults, but most will have been put right by the previous owner.
You are right in that they dont depreciate a huge amount after a few years, but they do cost a surprising amount in maintenance.
And the fuel economy will make you weep.
