Oh come on now, you're being deliberately obtuse in order to have an argument online.
That seems to be your raison d'etre, so I'm not surprised. However, you know as well as everyone else does that I wasn't "laughing at the holocaust" in that thread.

Anyway, I don't think you fully grasped what I was getting at. That's probably my fault for not explaining myself. I've made plenty of jokes on here, this being a comedy website and all that. Sometimes (often) they don't land well, sometimes they've crossed a line of taste/decency, that's just an occupational hazard of posting here.

On this occasion, I think that the premise of your joke is sound, but you rather fumbled the execution. The tortured metaphor in the set-up culminates in the phrase "slippery brown shit", and the punchline makes clear it refers to Rishi Sunak. In that context, sticking "brown" the middle is both gratuitous (isn't shit usually brown?) and makes it indistinguishable from the sort of thing an angry racist would say. If you say there was no racist intent, I'm happy to take your word for it, but it's tone-deaf at best.

But hey, humour is subjective, and that's just my opinion. Maybe rob will stick it in the newsletter next week.

Ah I briefly hoped you might have been trolling, instead of boringly earnest
If you’re interested, and explaining jokes always makes them funnier, the “brown” is predicated on the joke. If I’ve used yellow piss and thick white crust, the immutable laws of joke telling means the third item has to be in the same format. I assumed b3tans could take the joke on its own offensive merits without getting all PC about it. All 4 of us anyway
It was a fine pun, btw, your White stripes pajamas one, so rather than being obtuse, which I can be guilty of, I was just highlighting how easy it is to be wowserish about humour if one has a mind to
