I say I say I say...
Why are the two main political parties called Conservative and Labour?
Ans: How else do you tell them apart! Boom boom!

By comparing and contrasting their ideologies and policies.
One is a fascistic hard right party that seeks to divide us in a culture war, the other isn't. It's really very simple to detect which is which.

I entirely agree with the overt sentiment...
But when the the policies of the 'change' appear to be that of re-establishing a copy of Cameron's policies of Austerity (i.e. wind the clock back to a stable government whose policies have ultimately sent them institutionally insane and brought the country to ruin), at a point when we've little time to prepare and invest for what's coming ...
Oh damn! Look what you've made me do! It only started as a joke! ;o)

A better comparison would be Major's 97 manifesto,
but I'd take IDS or even Michael fucking Howard's tory party over this one. The cost of tory corruption and incompetence since Brexit literally could have paid for several moon missions or a crewed mission to Mars, but all we got was a buggy phone app, unfit and imaginary PPE, and a series of worsening ecological disasters for which nobody seems to have been punished.

Let's go back to square one with Labour!

Don't misunderstand me...
..the incuntbants are too low to be worthy of my finest and thickest and lowest pH of bile I could ever produce in twelve and a third lifetimes. If I could put a label on my politic's life long socialist would come close enough, though I hate dogma of any polarised kind, religious, political, social, commercial (blah blah), and in '97 I refused to vote for the corrosive twat and they turned out to be more authoritarian that the prev Tory gov (I had the immense displeasure recently of sitting on a jury into an enquiry of victim of IPP's who killed himself for fear of being recalled because of drug alcohol problems he was too terrified of admitting for fear of being recalled (it does get rather recursive in a queasy way) those problems being caused by the fear of being recalled. So thank you New Tory, er, Labour for polishing your knobs to look good (tough on crime, totally ignoring the causes of crime) while people's lives were ruined for it).
Sorry, getting fuckin angry at the memories! And prattling on, sheesh!

Anyway, I can promise you in 5 years we'll be in a lot more shit, much as it pains me (having an adult kid). But as ever, I'm just a voice in the night, and not to be trusted, only the hindsight of a half decade will maybe return the memory of my vapid prediction and wanky writing!
Polly Titians, gawd bless 'em all! :^D

P.S. Crap, forgot to say, it seems Kier's fine works are planned to be funded by PFI's - just the sort of shite that's got us where we are! This is nectar to them as it is essentially just more loan sharking to look good and pushing the impact 10 years up the line (climate change impact, wait until it comes?). Ya gotta laugh! :^(
An attitude of quiet depression and rampant schadenfreude rules my roost nowadays! ;o)
Gallow's humour's the only humour now!

Bottom line: The Tories have never been shy to be what they are, and it's only being committed to suicidal social asset stripping policies since '79 that's lead to institutional insanity.
Labour were meant to be their antithesis, in my mind. The party for workers instead of owners.

Damnation!
I completely forgot the most important point of all! The world will always be full of cunts, so why don't we all collectively stop voting them in?
(rhetorical of course! ;o))
