SleepI used to be deathly afraid of sleeping. This was heavily when I was 10-13, and it still comes back for a month or so every year. It was mainly fear of dying in my sleep that did it, I can't see why anyone would want to do that.
Oh, and I also have to check under my bed, in my wardrobe and the airing cupboard before I sleep. And move any sharp objects into draws (though anyone trying to kill me would probably bring their own weapons...)
