Actually, it's illegal to smoke at bus stops "because it is".If you have a problem with that then you should take it up with the last government rather than someone who doesn't want to breath your smoke.
I am someone who has a problem with it myself, but not enough to do anything about it because I neither smoke nor want to live in this country any more (Erm, assuming you're in the UK?).
