This is a question Irrational Hatred

People who say "less" when they mean "fewer" ought to be turned into soup, the soup fed to baboons and the baboons fired into an active volcano. What has you grinding your teeth with rage, and why?

Snack
I really don't like the word snack. I don't know why. There is nothing wrong with it grammatically, I just don't like it.
It sounds like it should be a slang word and not for use in proper English.

Snack off, you dirty snacker.

F'me...
It's the word 'refreshments'. I can't be doing with train journeys for fear I'll be offered: teas, coffees, hot chocolate; fresh sandwiches; crisps; confectionary and other general, fucking 'refreshments'.

And if someone dares to offer a lite bite I'm prone to coming out in hives.

How could you tell, though?
They might be offering you a 'light' bite and not a 'lite' one. You'd go hungry, all because of your foolish pride.

You call it 'stupid pride'
I... I call it 'stupid pride' too. Although, saying that, if they're offering any sort of bite, I doubt it'd be enough to sate my ravening hunger.
