Yes, chemo is a poison. But, regarding your well stolen Minchin line regarding alternative medicine, then the poison is a medicine because it works quite well on cancer, ergo when people keep saying it is a poison detracts from its notable effect and allows misguided twats to then assert that household bleach can cure many ailments when ingested.
Medical society in less than thirty years will look back on chemo for curing cancer as being as barbaric as trepanning to rid people of demons.
