Generally, I agreeBut not everyone in the world is bad; there is a fair proportion that are nice, and would be community-spirited enough that if the whole world were populated by this type of person, the rush toward annihilation could be halted.
Unfortunately a community such as this can be blown apart by one arsehole. To counter being taken advantage of by said arsehole, the nice members of the community would need to up their own arsehole rating.
So yes, the world is inhabited by arseholes. Some are born arseholes, others have arseholeness thrust upon them.
