Karma
Sue Denham writes, "I once slipped out of work two hours early without the boss noticing. In my hurry to make the most of this petty victory, I knocked myself out on the car door and spent the rest of the day semi-conscious, bowking rich brown vomit over my one and only suit."
Have you been visited by the forces of Karma, or watched it happen to other people?
Thanks to Pooflake for the suggestion

I was a DSS / Jobcentre monkey
For more years than I care to remember. I hated nearly every minute of it; HOWEVER, that did not stop me from doing my job professionally and considerately. I treated everyone equally, even the murderers and child molesters (and total fucking layabouts) and always gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unless it was totally blatant that they were trying to fuck the system, then it was a case of get them in and get them out again as quickly as possible. Why waste your time on a waste of time?
However, there are some in the job that have zero social skills and are there because (a) they couldn't get a job anywhere else, and (b) because of the pension. But please, don't tar us all with the same brush. It's like saying that all Irish people are stupid, all Welsh men are in-bred sheep shaggers or all Scots are tight-fisted alcoholics.
