Need a tougher carThe humble Toyota Carina E, it seems, is immune to the effects of using badgers as brakes.
Driving down a hill (about here if you're interested) one night when THREE badgers trotted out into the road; a mother and two cubs.
THUD!
I skid to a halt, get out and survey the scene. One big badger in the middle of the road. One cub at the roadside, blood coming from its nose. The third scampered round in circles a few times then fucked off into the woods.
The damage to the car? A couple of hairs stuck under a screw beneath the bumper, and a smell of burning fur coming from the exhaust.
