This is a question "Needless to say, I had the last laugh"

Celebrity autobiographies are filled to the brim with self-righteous tales of smug oneupmanship. So, forget you had any shame, grab a coffee and a croissant, and tell us your smug tales of when you got one over somebody.

Thanks to Ring of Fire for the suggestion

Personally...
I've never seen a Smart Car parked in that fashion that hasn't constituted a hazard for traffic or pedestrians. That's probably more to do with the drivers than the vehicle design though.

Also, they're not actually that economic, given the limitations on the load and number of passengers they can carry.

Still, if you're in a congested big city they could be pretty useful. I'd prefer a decent bike personally though.

Not that economic?
As you say, for city driving and if you only want to carry around yourself and a briefcase, which accounts for a huge number of commuter journeys, they'll be more economic than a normal car.

I've always wondered why smart cars, mopeds and motorbikes aren't pushed more from an environmental viewpoint. It's always seemed ridiculous to me that people decide to take a 2-ton steel box with them to work every day. How can that possibly be an efficient solution?

Oil revenue
Far better to paint bikes as dangerously fast rich boys toys ridden by pillocks too
