This is a question Lead Balloon

Have you tried to be funny and failed horribly? Yeah, join the club. Or have you witnessed someone crash and burn by either being plain unfunny or offensively unfunny? Tell us your stories of sense of humour failure

Thanks to the charmingly named Reginald Donkeyfuck (not related to the Cheshire branch of the Donkeyfuck family, one presumes)

I love the gentle undercurrent of misogyny that's seemingly inescapable in any criticism of successful women who aren't successful for being perky orange slags.

Miranda Hart is actually a rather good actress, as proven by her role in Call the Midwife.
Comedy may or may not be her strength, but she's good at what she does.

I like her.
And I will even go on record to admit that I laughed at some of her sitcom.

I think she can be quite funny, and she's a fair actress,
but her sitcom was dire. Popular, though. I like that she advertises her stage show as being "family friendly", too.
