he did a bad job with everythingbut a lot of the lego was bashed about and he was using those angled roofing pieces as well as squares, which more than likely caused weaker areas.

^ This.Lego bricks can support a surprising amount of weight, although I believe that they pretty much disintegrate when their limit is exceeded.
