Sorry if my letter was misinterpreted - definitely not a justification not to vote, more a general grievance about the fact that our "democracy" isn't really that democratic!
Heaven forbid we end up going down the route of America and start judging our politicians in the same contemptable way that our so-called pop stars reach the big time.
Surely there's got to be a way of improving things? (That doesn't involve Mr Fawkes and barrels of gunpowder!)
