Letters they'll never read
"Apologies, anger, declarations of love, things you want to say to people, but can't or didn't get the chance to." Suggestion via reducedfatLOLcat.

argh. yes.
Most of the jobs I've applied for lately (both in UK and Oz) have that one stupid selection criteria/question that essentially requires you to state "I'm not racist or sexist." and I have to ask - WTF is the point? Who's going to say "Actually, I don't believe in your equal opportunities policies" even if that were true?
If the point is that they want to be able to fire you later by stating that clearly you lied on your application, then I still don't see why it needs to be part of the selection criteria - surely they should just hand you the policy to read and get you to sign a statement that you agree to it.
Argh.
