Your friend did make the choice to lend the money, but this guy does sound like a prick.

I'd be tempted to send him what we in the US call a Board of Health card informing him that a past sexual partner tested positive for an STD. That always gets someone's attention, and with a computer, you can fake a convicing one.

But I hope this letter allowed you to move beyond the feelings that would have allowed you to do that.
