i will never understandwhy anyone would lie about being raped. it's not a positive thing, and as a 'rape survivor' (as we like to be known apparantly), i am aware of the negative response of just about everyone i told. it's not amusing, it doesn't gain respect from anyone, and you then have to deal with all the psychological aspects of the rape itself PLUS the attitude shift in all around you. it's so bloody stupid.
why not lie about something that gains you admiration and respect?!
