The parrot of wisdomMy brother lies pathologically. When I was six he told me, quite conversationally, that Napoleon kept one hand inside his lapel because he had The Parrot of Wisdom in his jacket, and he would periodically take it out when he needed advice.
He also said that the parrot outlived Napoleon by 10 years.
I believed this till I was nine.
