Pulled a good one on my daughter.She came to get me, all freaked out, because there was a cricket in her room. (To be fair, it was one of these.) So I followed her upstairs to kill and dispose of it- only to find no evidence of it anywhere.
We looked all through the room and didn't find it, and she began to relax- so I pointed to a spot a foot behind her and yelled "There it is!"
She's still annoyed with me for that one.
