This is a question Lies that went on too long

When you lie you often have to keep lying. Share your pain. When I was 15 I pretended to be 16 to help get a summer job. Then had to spend a summer with this nice shopkeeper asking me everyday if I was excited about getting my GCSE results. I felt like an utter shit. Thanks to MerseyMal for the suggestion.

I quite like him on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, but his stand-up stuff needs work.
Boosh can fuck right the fuck off, though.

He was good in Nathan Barley.
Mainly because he hardly ever opened his mouth.

and the character he was playing was meant to be an annoying twat
he was perfect for the role

Jones as a self-absorbed bellend that Ashcroft is unfortunately stuck with ... hmm
*looks again*

I didn't watch Nathan Barley.
Mainly because I'd enjoyed the column so much it was obvious it was never even going to touch the sides.

have you seen that premium comedy effort?
it's like watching a compilation made up of all the stuff left on the cutting room floor after boosh was made, but worse.
you get the distinct impression he's in the final stages of an acid meltdown. all the witty, funny moments have passed, and you're basically faced with a wild-eyed gibbering wreck wearing the contents of the under-sink cupboard he's been hiding in for the past 4 hours, with pupils like saucers, stuck in some kind of cyclical 4 minute long babble-loop about miniaturised dead rock stars.
tl:dr version : shite.

You obviously, like, just don't GET it, man.

I was going to say it looks like he's desperately trying to eke out his fifteen minutes of fame
by throwing weird psychedelia at the screen in the hope that his sycophantic followers in the teen-friendly media will proclaim it to be bizarrely genius for fear of looking uncool.

But yours is better.

I agree entirely
There are quite a few people who work well on panel shows but boil my piss otherwise, Jimmy Carr being the first one that comes to mind.

Does Jimmy Carr exist outside of the endless carousel of TV panel shows?
