Most of the OT goes along with polytheism.Even within the ancient Jews, monotheism didn't really take hold until aftre the Torah began to be written down.

But of course...But I doubt the God that Dawkins doesn't believe in is one of the Egyptian ones or some tribal god from Belize. It's more likely the God of the high church Anglicans.
