Little Victories
I recently received a £2 voucher from a supermarket after complaining vociferously about the poor quality of their own-brand Rich Tea biscuits, which I spent on more tasty, tasty biscuits. Tell us about your trivial victories that have made life a tiny bit better.

I also wrote to him
Told him that his idea of talking the pound down wasn't constructive for companies like mine that import more than export. I got a personal, hand signed response, explaining his reasons for his statement, his thoughts, and wishing me success.
Impressed.
One day, I'll have my own fancy embossed letterheads and envelopes with "The Governor" on!

It's funny
because politicains have been known to describe the BOE as arrogant...The cheek of it! Still waiting for a reply from my local Tory MP (i didn't vote for him) on the tax breaks for corporate companies that are coming in. It's worth reading up on this, as the tories are stealthing it in without a debate.
