I recently received a £2 voucher from a supermarket after complaining vociferously about the poor quality of their own-brand Rich Tea biscuits, which I spent on more tasty, tasty biscuits. Tell us about your trivial victories that have made life a tiny bit better.

Oh I know you are right
But fare dodging isn't going to help and it just pisses off those of us that have no choice but to subsidise them.

There are better ways to make your feelings known than rob the person sitting next to you.

Fair enough, 'spose.
It depresses me that none of the parties are interested in nationalising the rail network, despite it being far cheaper to do than to continue subsidising the companies. From the figures I saw, it would cost only six months subsidy to buy back all the TOCs and rolling stock. Imagine how cheap it would be...

As an example, I go from Hornsby to Sydney each day and a month's fare is $148 (so ~95 squid) - and that's for a 35 km journey. On top of that, everyone complains about how expensive the trains are here...
