Spent a good few hours....trying to figure out how, according to the police, someone has my car registered and insured in their name when I have the documentation to prove it's mine. There was a very simple explanation of course - when I called the police to to tell them my car had been vandalised I'd given them the wrong registration number - only two digits difference.
