Salvador Dali used to paint like this
He'd fall asleep holding a spoon on the end of the chair arm, and a metal dish on the ground.

As he fell asleep, he'd drop the spoon, clattering and waking him up.

Then he'd paint what he saw on the edge of his dreams.

Now I think about it, that could have made me world-famous if I'd got there before Dali!
