I tried that once.
It's the most disgusting stuff to try to swallow.
You don't get any sort of high, I just felt drowsy, then when I was trying to go to sleep I would keep imagining various horrible things coming at me which made me jolt upright in bed.
In summary: pointless and crap.

Yeah I tried that too
I had a thumping headache for days, dodgy guts for weeks and I still find it hard, decades later, not to gag slightly when I taste a strong nutmeg flavour
