Obscure Memorabilia
At home my other half has a broken piece of a piano. Just a single hammer from a broken piano. And yet this twisted bit of wood and metal is a piece from the piano that they flung in the TV series Northern Exposure. We've also got some gardening tools from the first series of Big Brother.
What wierd stuff do you own that has a history?

crap
Years ago I was staying at a cheap hotel in Texas, and noticed a sign in the bathroom warning against stealing the room towels to use the pool.
So, I stole the sign instead. It's been on my bathroom sink ever since.
I have a "Do Not Disturb" doorknob hanger from New York City's Hotel Pennsylvania, where I spoke at a convention once, hanging on my bedroom door. The flipside reads "Maid please make up room," but she hasn't yet.
I have a stone from the easternmost tip of Long Island.
I've still got a pen that was in the room when I lost my virginity.
I have the 100 mHz Pentium chip from my first non-shit computer hanging on my wall. Worth all of a few cents now, but ten years ago it was serious nerd bragging material (more so than the lost virginity.)
