This is a question Obscure Memorabilia

At home my other half has a broken piece of a piano. Just a single hammer from a broken piano. And yet this twisted bit of wood and metal is a piece from the piano that they flung in the TV series Northern Exposure. We've also got some gardening tools from the first series of Big Brother.

What wierd stuff do you own that has a history?

Stephen Hendry, MBE
- I met his Mum once. My boss at the time used to be a neighbour of theirs, and we called in for a cup of tea one day when we were in the area. As you do. Not being much of a snooker fan myself & therefore at a loss for words ("those are jolly nice trophies, do they take a lot of cleaning?"), I got chatting to her about a music fanzine I was involved with instead, and she very kindly gave me a cheque and instructions to send her a copy. Which I did - but I never cashed the cheque. I still have it.

Stephen Hendry's mum.
