This is a question Obscure Memorabilia

At home my other half has a broken piece of a piano. Just a single hammer from a broken piano. And yet this twisted bit of wood and metal is a piece from the piano that they flung in the TV series Northern Exposure. We've also got some gardening tools from the first series of Big Brother.

What wierd stuff do you own that has a history?

Well it's obscure, I own it and it has a history...

This is a pepsi menu holder I swiped in a club in Sichuan, China. Apparently there was a group performing who were really big locally. We'd had maybe 4 drinks each and were getting a bit merry. It was the closest thing to a club I'd seen for a couple of months.

All of a sudden, the dancefloor was cleared by security guards and we were shown to tables. Then three chinese ladies dressed in a nuns habit/tutu combo came out wearing giant crucifixes around their necks - they sang a song with a 'western' chorus that sounded like they were singing "wish you all the shareman, wish you all the baby, yeah".

When it ended, the night was over and everyone got shown out by the guards. It was 10pm.

During the song my mate and I nicked one of these things each, because it was the only thing that we could find (and we were scared of the security).

By far the most surreal moment I've had without chemical enhancement.
